In what’s already a whirlwind year for breaking news and people being offended by words. Part time UFC fighter and noted full time scholar, Bryce Mitchell, is taking home the ultimate prize, the Nobel Prize that is. The newly minted NPL (Nobel Prize Laureate) won the award due to his ground breaking work in field of earthmitus flatius, or as commonly known in the science world: Flat Earth. His work on the subject has shattered what we’ve previously thought to be true in regards to the earths obvious circular shape. When asked to comment on how he ultimately arrived to this sound observation of true science, Mitchell replied, “I just did my research.”

It should be noted that in the past being a “flat earther,” would’ve had you committed, but now even solid MMA journalist like Chuck Mindenhall is on the flat earth train or should I say, flat train.

As in all things Bryce Mitchell, he’s not without his skeptics. Those on the round earth side give irrefutable evidence that the earth isn’t flat. They point to Josh Emmett’s knockout of Mitchell to disprove the theory. When asked how, the skeptics said, “When he was lying on the floor he was 2D, but when he got up from the floor he was 3D, get it?”

All in all, this is a fascinating timeline to be living in. In the famous words of Maximus Decimus Meridius, “Are you not entertained!!!”
